This programme is ideal for people with mild to moderate alcohol use who are ready to make a positive change in their relationship with alcohol.

 

The programme works alongside popular sobriety campaigns such as Dry January, Sober October, or any personal commitment you've made to reduce your drinking.

When you try to cut down, it’s often as if you’re caught in a battle of wanting to drink and trying not to. You’re not getting a break from the physical pull of craving alcohol and you’re not forming new, healthier pathways in your brain.

 

HypnoSober requires a commitment to completely stopping alcohol for a set period of time. If your longer term goal is to reduce your alcohol consumption, HypnoSober can help you work towards that. For the initial 30 days, though, it’s important to commit to being sober in order to benefit from the programme.

• You have been advised by a medical professional that you need supervised detoxification

• You are currently experiencing significant mental health crises

• You are not willing to commit to sobriety during the programme period

• You have a history of severe alcohol-related health complications

What happens if I drink during the 30-day period?

We'll start the 30-day period over again and use it as a learning opportunity. Understanding what triggered the slip is valuable information that helps strengthen your commitment going forward.

 

What if I change my mind and want to reduce rather than stop completely?

It's very important to give your mind and body a break, no matter what your longer-term goals are. Thirty days isn't long, and wanting to change your goals might mean you're struggling more than you expected—which is something we can work on together. Please be clear about making the commitment before you start. If you want to change your goal from sobriety to reduction during the programme, this isn't something I can support you with. If you have paid for sessions in advance, which means I have set that time aside for you, refunds are not available.

 

Is hypnosis guaranteed to help?

Think of hypnosis as going hand in hand with your commitment. It has a great track record in helping people change behaviours, but it requires motivation to work fully.

 

Your willingness to commit and engage with the process is essential to your success. What if I need more sessions? This can be discussed and tailored to your individual needs.

 

Some people find the four sessions are enough, while others benefit from additional support. We can review your progress and decide together what works best for you.
